What does this car say about you?

Happy with a small, flexible motor.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Ignoramuses think it's for pensioners. Brand snobs can't understand why we've bought a very good car, perfect for our needs - from Renault. They think we should have wasted another 7 grand on an A class.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but the 'grand' model. Kids older now.

What are you likely to buy next?

So many more mini-MPVs to choose from than 6 yrs ago, so will be considering other marques.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

The 1.6 makes it really nippy from start and great around town. On the motorway it's a surprisingly good cruiser; happy at well over the speed limit.

    What's it like to park?

Superb. The rear of the car is where you see the back window; the front is visble about 2 feet in front of your pedals.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Bar a faulty glovebox the car has been very reliable.

What's most practical about your car?

The seat height makes it perfect for putting children in and out of child seats in the back and gives superb view from the front.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Sliding rear bench. Day to day with it pushed back the car feels very roomy and airy. When we go on hols we shove the bench completely forward and can get loads in the boot.
