What does this car say about you?

It's immediately associated with the elderly.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They agree that it's very tidy, but it is an old mans car even though I did choose the iS version.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Probably not. It's perfectly pleasant and does what I intended it to do (back up car when the motorbike isn't suitable) but there are probably better cars out there.

What are you likely to buy next?

No idea. Probably something which doesn't require any fuel, given the way that fuel prices are going.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £1,950

When did you buy the car?

    June 2008

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes. It's relatively high mileage, but it's at least as tidy as I would expect for a car half its age and miles.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I didn't want to spend any money, so had to trade at almost exactly the value of my Laguna, which had to go before something REALLY expensive fell off/blew up.

    What was the dealer like?

    Very pleasant.

  • Driving it

    3 out of 5 3.0

    What's it like to drive?

It's a little bit sluggish until you get up around 3000 revs, but then one of the reasons that I bought it was in order to slow down a bit.

    What's it like to park?

    A doddle.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No, but I've only had it for a month...

What's most practical about your car?

I've recently moved onto a bike, to save on fuel costs, so probably the roof.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Favourite gadget? It's a Rover 25, it doesn't exactly have gadgets.
