What does this car say about you?

    Who cares?

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They laugh...especially watching me get in and out..

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, they're cheap to buy, cheap to run (I am getting 48MPG even with leaden foot driving) and extremely cheap to modify.

What are you likely to buy next?

I'll hang on to this for a good few years..

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £3,000

When did you buy the car?

    August 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?

I did get a good deal from an Independent Specialist, they even threw in a re-map.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Fancied a smaller version of my Merc Sl500.

    What was the dealer like?

    Clive was fabulouw.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

It is just so much FUN. Remapped to 110HP it'll keep up with a Golf GTI if you want, until the bends at which point it'll leave them trailing. Handling is "on rails" and it really does go better than you would expect. I have had a couple of TVRs and a Merc SL500 along with a host of other "fast" cars and this gives every bit as much fun but at licence saving speeds.

    What's it like to park?

Awesome... But like most people say, leave enough room for the long doors to open and for you to be able to get out with some semblance of modesty..

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

The roof does not always close 100% every time, it just needs "re-training" which is easy enough to do.

What's most practical about your car?

The coupe has reasonable luggage capacity. I bought the roadster bags that fit perfectly so have enough space for the 2 of us for 2 weeks.. cannot fault that at all.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I converted it to keyless-go for the grand sum of £16. Replaced the Grundig stereo with a decent mech-less A2DP unit with handsfree calling.. I love the heated seats and paddles. But the roof is awesome, being able to open & close at any speed is great.
