At first they thought it weird but when they saw the turning circle and how well it drives they were converted :).

For sure. As a city car the IQ is hard to beat.

We got a good deal with one or two options thrown in for free.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

We wanted a city car (as a 2nd car) that was easy to park and easy to drive.

What was the dealer like?

The local Toyota dealer was excellent. We already have a Toyota in the household and the experience of the dealer was the reason we purchased the IQ instead of other manufacturers offerings.

What's it like to drive?

This car is surprising to drive. It's great in the town/city, turns on a sixpence but - and this is the surprising part - will happily sit a 70 mph on the motorway. Because it's wider than most small cars it gives a bigger car driving experience. We have the cvt automatic, which is smooth and great for the city driving. The car isn't quick though with 0-60 at about 15 seconds! but this is a city car and bought with this in mind.

What's it like to park?

We bought this car because it is easy to park. It is small so will fit in all those spaces impossible for even Fiesta sized cars. The steering enables you to pull out of the tightest spaces in one go. The corners are all easy to judge - again aiding parking. A difinite city car.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The car was recalled a few months after purchase but we got a courtesy car and M&S vouchers so were happy. The car has been faultless.

What's most practical about your car?

The turning circle on this car has to be seen to be believed. It is probably as good or better than a London taxi. This makes it great in the town/city and is also dead easy to park due to its small size.
