What does this car say about you?
Mr Sensible. I am at that age where my new born son comes first.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They really like it, looks the part in Carbon Flash with the 18" wheel upgrade.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would def buy another Astra again yes, and I would also recommend it to family and friends. But for me it would have to be a GTC VXR after the little one has grown up a bit.
What are you likely to buy next?
Astra GTC VXR, Honda Civic Type R Turbo or a similar hot hatch in around 3 years time.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes dealer was very helpful. I actually seen the car advertised online and done my research before going for the test drive.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
After having a few VXR range of cars in the past I decided on something more fuel efficient and comfortable for a change.
What was the dealer like?
Very nice, polite, helpful and just generally a nice experience.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very nice, lovely cabin to sit behind/in. Around town you can tell its a heavy car but in general on an open road its nice and can be lively when it wants to be. Although I have yet to find a setting on the electronic lumbar support that doesn't give me back ache on longer journeys 80+ miles.
What's it like to park?
Not too bad, mirrors are easily adjusted. Although a nice feature would have been auto reverse tilt mirrors, where when you select reverse the mirrors auto tilt down slightly so you can see the kerbs and save the alloys.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not as such just 2 niggles. 1 = When the fuel tank is full you can actually hear the fuel sloshing around (makes a thumping sound) goes away below 3/4. and 2 = O/S wheelarch liner rattled like mad at 70MPH. Both seem to be common issues and have been rectified.
What's most practical about your car?
Fuel economy and boot space for the size of the car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated front seats, ambient mood lighting and 18" Elite upgrade alloy wheel pack (includes SRi suspension with the pack).
