What does this car say about you?

I love cars that look good that don't cost the earth!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all say how good it looks, its very similar to the VXR styling which is why I love it-all the stylish looks with the cheap running costs.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes! I love my car-everybody I know knows how great it is. The best car I've owned and ive had a fair few. This is also the longest I've owned 1 car-its now 4 years old!!

What are you likely to buy next?

No idea. I would probably go for another Astra but a newer one. This will be a tough one to follow as its been so reliable.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I luckily got a huge discount where I work in the trade myself, put a small deposit in aswell and it totalled about 5k off. Lovely :-).

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Always wanted this shape Astra.

What was the dealer like?

Dealer was great-Eden @ Exeter. Lovely to deal with although it was all over the phone-they even delivered it to my work in Somerset.

What's it like to drive?

I love it! It's nippy, great on motorways or pottering around on A/B roads. fantastic fuel economy, on a run I've managed 55MPG around town and short trips I was averaging 46mpg.

What's it like to park?

I find it so easy, the rear window is small but I never found it an issue. The steering is nice and fairly light. A lot of sporty looking cars have a terrible turning circle-this one really is brilliant.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The car has been perfect the whole time! its done 50,000 miles and the only thing that has been replaced are tyres and service items...brakes are just over half worn from new and I am always on my brakes!

What's most practical about your car?

Really good size boot for a 3 door hatch. Comfortable driving position too, especially as I'm short so need to be closer to steering, my husband is tall and the steering wheel pulls out so you aren't reaching so far forward if you are tall.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The Aux is great-a lot of other Astra's don't come with this as standard, just love the overall look-I have it in white which makes it really stand out.
