Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Choose the 2.0 turbo if you want few problems. A well sorted motor. All the other engines are GM. Nothing wrong with that except.....the V6 petrol...to be avoided. Built in the US, with a turbo, supplying only 3 cylinders and a self destructing oil cooler and head gaskets, at 100k...too many recalls in the States, means unreliability. Stay clear.

How reliable do you find the car?

Twas to be expected. Unused for a year then bought by me, only 45thou, new battery and an airbag warning light on. Warning light doused after buying a 20 quid diagnostic tester. A cv boot was repaired to pass it's MOT and then a suspected battery problem cropped up which couldn't have been as the battery was new. Alternator. Strange at 45K. However, the bits can be bought for 15 quid, so an easy repair. Its not Japanese. Its not Korean. Electrics can be fun.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

The response from a SAAB sourced 2.0 litre turbo is super. About 173hp but its a bit of a fib. More like 183. If you are in the know.
