    No

    £12,500

When did you buy the car?

    December 2014

Did you get a good deal and why?

The car was already £2000 less than list for a vehicle of this age and mileage. I tried to get a bit more off but the best I got was a £220 goodwill payment.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Previous Zafira B model was written off in an accident. Needed similar vehicle for the family.

    What was the dealer like?

Very Good. Didn't try to push paint protection etc when I showed that I wasn't interested. Rectified a few faults that I spotted without any issues.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Took a bit of getting used to. Felt a bit wallowy compared to the previous Zafira. Since got used to how it handles. 1.4 Turbo engine pulls well but lacks any oomph at motorway speeds.

    What's it like to park?

With the front and rear parking sensors, a doddle. Its a big old unit, but the steering and controls are light to use and visibility is good.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not so far...hopefully it will be as reliable as the Zafira it replaces.

What's most practical about your car?

The flexible seating by far. Probably the only reason that you would buy a car like this over an Astra or Focus for example.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Lots. Much better equipped than the old model. Wife likes the auto wipers and lights. Parking sensors are good. Cant see the cruise control getting used much on the types of journeys it covers. Was told on the test drive that the car had bluetooth. It doesnt. Pretty shocking really. Found a specialist who fits a module for around £250 which enables handfree through the factory buttons. Also has the advantage of giving a better visual representation of the front and rear parking sensors. The standard only visualises the front. This car also had Pearlescent paint (Asteriod Grey) which is a £500 option which I was very pleased about.
