What does this car say about you?

I like VW's and like to have a decent amount of spec without being ripped off.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Very roomy, has a lot of toys, great car for me being 6 foot 2. Great for me to drive them around is as its not expensive to run.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, because the performance and fuel economy balance is perfect, its got more room than say a golf but isn't like driving a bus. I would though suggest having it remapped, mine has gained 40bhp and an extra 5mpg.

What are you likely to buy next?

I'm not sure maybe an Audi A4 or a Golf MK5 but I will be staying in the VAG group.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I bought the car trade, from a fellow car trader, it had full history and a fair millage and was in fantastic condition.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Always fancied one and they have a lot of spec for not much money.

What was the dealer like?

Friendly chap, had a nice chat about VW's.

What's it like to drive?

Such an comfy drive is great on long trips and even around town. The only thing I'd say is it rolls a little when cornering at standard height, now mines lowered it drives much better.

What's it like to park?

Not to bad boot takes a while to judge as you can't see it, mine came with parking sensors but they are pretty useless. Seem to pick up a leaf on the ground, also they start beeping a meter away and go solid at 30cm.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Only had a small £10 sensor go, very reliable and I do 10k a year.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge boot, lots of room inside for the taller person and fantastic fuel economy without loosing performance.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated leather seats, they are very comfy and great for those cold winter mornings. Also auto dimming rear view mirror as it stops me from being blinded everyday.
