Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

The V5 is a 150BHP rocket and has so much torque in the midrange that its a real drivers car. It will give more expensive luxury sports cars like Porsche's a run for their money. If performance and long distance driving is your thing, the V5 is the working mans ASTON MARTIN, but if running costs are important, seek out a 1.9 tdi version. My V5 has climate control and heated front seats and is in a lovely metallic turquoise blue colour which when its been washed, looks amazing. I truly cannot understand why this car did not sell in much greater numbers because it puts the Golf and Passat to shame. I intend to keep mine for as long as possible as I love it, especially the look and style of the front of the car. Only gets V5 if you can handle 30-35mpg. Always get the highest spec version you can find as these cars change hands for small money now and you can pick yourself up a car you will adore for under £1000.

How reliable do you find the car?

When I got the cat, it had been really looked after. Considering it's age and mileage of 84,600 miles when I got it, it was in fantastic condition. I have put some 16000 miles on in just 11 months and the only problem so far has been a leaky coolant hose.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I would say it is truly perfect and the only shadow cast over that statement is the shocking fuel economy. If you can stomach regular visits to the pumps (it runs better on super unleaded), its a fantastic car in every way. Faultless!
