In their own words

Love the electronic dash which is very clear and configurable. The SatNav is great and you can have the map on the infotainment screen or the main dash window. Fantastic LED lights that bend with the steering. LED lights all round are very clear and bright. Just love the Audi style expanding rear indicators - may be a gimmick but puts a smile on my face knowing I didn't pay for this as an optional extra like on many Audis! Great cabin feel. Great ambient lighting. DSG box is perfect, paddles are a nice touch but rarely used. Great engine with plenty of power when needed yet in eco mode I averaged over 50mpg over a 350 mile trip. The radar for adaptive cruise control is now hidden which looks better but I feel is a little less responsive than my previous Golf. I use adaptive cruise control all the time - I wouldn't buy a car without it. The bigger infotainment screen is a huge improvement in terms of touch control and resolution quality. I had a real issue in my old Golf that in winter months you could press the screen without anything ever working until everything warmed up - I haven't gone through a winter with the new car yet but I can feel it is improved already. The only negative I have is that the auto engine cut out often happens too soon, even when braking when slowly approaching stationary traffic.
