In their own words

I`ve owned and driven cars for 40 years and have also enjoyed VW cars in their different formats. Good quality and reliability - regardless of the recent scandal. Delighted with my SCR diesel version and good fuel economy. I do occasionally pop it in to Sport mode - Vquick!. The only minor niggles are - there is no button for adjusting the dash lighting, you have to access the display unit which is bloody annoying when you`re driving. And the front driver / passenger doors could do with an `extra` stop before opening fully. I`m really delighted with this car in it`s R Line guise. Very comfortable on long journeys too. The car did belong to Bentley Motors as a loan car for the first few months of it`s life I`m led to believe!.

How reliable do you find the car?

Dealer did not top up the Ad-blue at the PDI as required in the schedule. Otherwise very pleased with the car.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

I chose this particular version because of the £30 pa road tax and I still get nearly 200 bhp !. I love the Estate derivative as a good load carrier plus the 3 zone climate control too. Very comfortable and easy to drive. Way better than my C Class Merc.
