Nice little car, good around the city and decent on the motorway.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely, I would still have my Polo if someone didn't write it off, lasted 3 years without any major problems. The engine was still running sound and the auto gearbox was faultless. Better than the 62 plate Corsa autobox I'm stuck with at the moment. (Managed to get about 20mpg around the city, a fair bit more on the motorway).

What are you likely to buy next?

Looking at a SEAT Ibiza (02-), MINI or a Polo again.

Liked the subtle look of this Polo.

What's it like to drive?

Very nice, even with the standard steelies on, steering was also very nice and responsive. Just an all round well engineered car. Took me to all ends of the country without failing on me once, it did worry me however but managed to make it without a problem.

What's it like to park?

Too easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

HT lead went soon after buying but was easily fixed myself. Starter motor was the only recurring problem and the window/central locking controls went but was due to a broken wire between the door and the car.

What's most practical about your car?

Nothing impractical.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cup holder and the tray next to it.
