In their own words

The High up is an excellent little car and worth getting but and this is quite a big but - - - do not trust the MPG figures, they seem to be grossly over exaggerated, I am a professional driver I pride myself at getting a good mpg figure, my previous small car a smart I got to with-in 10% of the official figures 50mpg vs 55mpg - the up I am struggling to get it under 31% different - that is a huge difference - it's not too bad at 47mpg but for a "blue motion" car I expect this car to do 55-60mpg - I will give it a little longer to "bed in" and if it is not performing as expected then it will be going back for checking by VW as either they are lying through their teeth or there is an issue with the car... however if you don't mind VW's dodgy past with emission testing and possibly fuel figures then buy the car you won't be disappointed...
