If it stays reliable yes. I don't want a car the same as most people drive ie a Freelander, X3,X5 or a Discovery i like to have a slightly rarer car although they are getting more common.

    Xc60 or new Xc90.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Has a bit of body roll on corners although not as bad as other 4x4s, plenty of power if needed yet frugal if driven sensibly. The car is very comfortable on a long drive.

    What's it like to park?

As easy as any other car of the same size, it has plenty if vision at the back and the parking sensors combined with the big side mirrors make it quite easy.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Annoyingly the oil level warning light came on after the garage had serviced it, it wasn't a problem just annoying. Volvo state that the xc60 has 6 litres of oil when in fact this makes the warning light come on, apparently now volvo dealers put 5.7 litres in.

What's most practical about your car?

It's only the same size as a mondeo but gives the feeling inside of being bigger, also with 205bhp it still returns about 40 mpg not bad for a 4x4.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The electric handbrake is good once used to it and the city safe device where as if going under 15mph the car will automatically break for you if it thinks you are going to hit the car in front.
