Abarth 695 Competizione (2022) review: hard cornering, handbrake turn, white car

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I did not originally intend buying an Abarth 500, but purchased mine on its advertised asking price. My car was brand new, but pre registered, and came with several nice options, particularly the bright Modena Yellow paintwork. The car was significantly cheaper to buy, than any normal 500 model, and due to my age, is cheap to insure. I wisely purchased a Fiat Mopar service plan with my new car, because i knew the servicing charges, at Abarth only dealerships, was not cheap. The car has been totally reliable, and is such great fun to drive, even though the drivers seating position has no adjustment for height. I only use premium Shell V Power fuel for my car, and it performs far better than i could have imagined. Its been reliable, fairly cheap to run, and according to motoring sources, holds on to its value incredibly well. Maybe if i had to pay full list price for my car, i may not have bought it, but it was on £10495 on the road, a fair bit cheaper than a standard 50, so buying it made sense. I am very glad i did.

How reliable do you find the car?

A friend of ours, living in South Wales, has owned two normal Fiat 500s, and she recommended the car to me, saying they have been very reliable, and cheap to run. Even though my car is an Abarth model, with significantly more horsepower than standard, it has been totally reliable, and is a joy to own.
