    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

A sport ride for a small family estate.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Pulls well in all gears, with a great sound! Ultra comfortable at motorway speeds.

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

A few faults, mainly electrics. Paintwork on one panel also started to fade and undercoat became visible. Alfa have taken 6 months so far to do nothing about the problem.

Didn't want an estate, but needed one. The Alpha has the looks and performance and is, on paper, an estate.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Small and hardly an estate, but comfortable ride at all speeds.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

I've had no reason for complaint.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Alpha charge the earth for car servicing. My cheapest has been £350. My warrenty claim on the paintwork is still awaiting their 'specialist' - I think he may have retired by the time he gets to see my car.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Timing belt change at 36k miles. Engine uses 1 litre of oil every 3k miles - Alfa have put a sticker on the window to remind drivers that the oil levels need to be checked.
