They loved it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Sold it and no. Good in its day but too long in the tooth now and starting to look dated. If I was spending £5k or less I probably would. The engine and interior are very special.

What are you likely to buy next?

Was eventually replaced with a Citroen C6 which I still have.

Looks, interior and the engine

What was the dealer like?

Mangoletsi (excellent)

What's it like to drive?

Wonderful and underated car. Front end a bt soft but otherwise marvellous. Drove like a GTi, sounded like a Ferrari. Loved it.

What's it like to park?

No reverse park. £400 paint bill for back bumper.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Front discs were replaced twice under warranty (warping). Clutch replaced at 57,0000 miles due to failed pressure plate but Alfa paid this under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

Superb seats and ski flap
