Alfa Romeo Spider (2007 - 2010) 1.75 TBi 2d Owner Review

Consider these as convertible tourers rather than fine handling nimble sports cars and you will not be disappointed. Rear visibility can be tricky, but parking sensors help. The car is somewhat heavy and gets unsettled over rough surfaces. Get them on a nice smooth flowing road, or mountain pass though and you will have a fantastic drive. Stands out from the crowd, people often compliment me on the car. I have driven mine to Italy from the UK 3 times, it's perfect for touring in style. The boot is ample and storage behind the seats helps. Go for the 1.8 TBi if you can find one. Superb responsive and economical engine. Great interiors and alround styling make these Alfa's something special. No reliability issues so far in 4 years of ownership, though servicing and spares can be pricey.
