  • 30 TFSI sounds impressive

Most new car drivers choose to purchase their cars with finance and purchased on PCP finance the A1 is still a relatively pricey prospect, following the launch of the car. However, monthly payments are relatively close to those of the MINI five-door hatchback and the Ford Fiesta Vignale.

Audi A1 red

Bear in mind the car’s strong residual values, which help to reduce its monthly payments, and the A1 is likely to be very competitively priced as the months go on and Audi is likely to offer more finance discounts.

We’ll have to wait for more fuel economy figures to be released by Audi reckons the 30 TFSI can achieve 58.9mpg if driven carefully. That’s an impressive figure and based on our experience it doesn’t look too hard to achieve more than 50mpg in this version – pretty strong for a petrol.

  • Brand new model
  • Shared platform and engines
  • Shouldn’t be any bother

Audi A1 reliability

Being an all-new model it’ll take time for any mechanical gremlins to come to light but we’re pretty sure the Audi A1, which shares a platform and engines with many other VW group products, will give you little cause for concern.
