In their own words

My second A1, with a smaller 1.0 litre (30)engine but no different in terms of speed/performance to the 1.4 cylinder in demand I used to have. 16inch wheels makes for a much smoother and quieter ride so don't be fooled into getting a sportier model with chunky wheels. Having said that, the Sport isn't very sporty looking. I went for dull, dark blue (the brochure/online configurator was extremely misleading. Don't choose Firmament Blue) but lighter colours I think work much better in showing off the car's profile. Radio is not as strong as on the predecessor model and regularly dips into FM and becomes muffled. Just select the sporty steering option otherwise the drive is very lifeless. Be careful if you are an Android phone user as it seems to prefer connection to iPhones (my partner uses apple and has had no issues, but this may be down to my particular phone, a Google Pixel). Fuel economy seems fine. The biggest disappointment however is that only 5 months new, it has needed a new air conditioning compressor. All this is covered under warranty of course but seeing as I hadn't used it much if at all, it could have been faulty on collection.
