In their own words

I have this car as a company car so couldn't quite spec up as I wanted, no nav, cruise etc... it's pretty basic but I made that choice wanting the Audi ownership rather than going for the similar engined Golf GT which had the better spec but felt dull inside. I'd wanted an Audi since was a kid. Well it's turned out to be very disappointing. In 1st year it need to go back for a rattling dash, that got sorted. Year 2 major breakdown while on holiday in Scotland, water pump impeller sheared off causing overheat, had to be towed away and a courtesy car (S6 happy days) sent. 1st MOT after 3 years, crank seal leaking oil, another trip to the garage, followed by a fuse blowing in the centre consul, noted when it went in that it was noise on cold start, they found the idler rockers had excessively worn but fixed under warranty as good will. To be fair in all this JCT600 Audi Doncaster have been spot on throughout. The car itself feel quality, materials and feel are really nice, it drives well and the emngine has a good punch, not the quietest but it has a reasonable nice note for a diesel. I tend to drive in the dynamic mode as the others just make it feel a bit rolly, I'm happy with the ride and comfort. Front tyres don't last that long though, 10-15k and they don't wear evenly. It has good space for car in this segment, rear leg room is better than an A4 and boot is ok. Design of the interior is very nice, simple and clean lines, buttons are laid out well and I think better than the facelift version. Bluetooth for my iPod can be a bit temperamental and it cuts out for second most days mid drive. If it was not for all the mechanicals I'd really have loved this car but won't have trusted it beyond warranty on my own money, I get to hand it back later this year and sadly I won't be picking or buying another Audi which is a shame as I still like the design and brand etc...
