Significantly cheaper than other high performance 4x4.

Comfortable touring and over speed bumps (unlike standard A6).

Reasonable handling on and off road.

Generally good but inadequate tyres for off road work. Needed 8 new tyres in the first year. Now with X5 tyres very good.
