Audi A6 Saloon (2004 - 2011) 3.0 TDi Quattro Le Mans 4d Tip Auto Owner Review

Numb steering, Dumb suspension, is what one the car magazine summed it up, which is a true statement, Steering is way to numb and soft, suspension is way to firm for what I consider a prestige car. Its most likely due to the fact that it was a Le Mans edition, but I can't say that i like the look of the SE edition. I Kept the car 3 years, but i can honestly say that i was considering changing the shock absorbers from the beginning, KONI FSD's had a good wright-up, but i didn't bother in the end. The 3.0tdi engine also sounded a lot diesel like, (4-pot) compared to BMW 3.0D and Mercedes 320cdi engines. in the end i bought a BMW GT 530D in which i can say does everything up to my expectations. Overall though the Audi A6 is a good looking car, but the drive doesn't do it for me. If you read the latest Audi A6's, the car magazines are saying the same thing regarding the soft, numb steering and the concrete like, tough suspension on the S-Line models.
