Bought second-hand, these cars are a tremendous bargain, but pick carefully.

Petrol consumption very fair up to 600+ miles on a long M-way run, but only 280 in city centre.

Excellent roadholding, ride very much better than the non-sport version.

Good, but nothing startling sees off most in day-to-day running.

Minor things can go in my case, new radiator, wheel bearings and alternator, after 125,000 miles nothing else.
