Audi TT Roadster boot space, practicality and safety

1999 - 2006 (change model)
Practicality rating: 3 out of 53.0

Written by David Ross Published: 6 June 2019 Updated: 6 June 2019

The TT received a decent four star rating in the Euro NCAP crash tests and all models get four airbags as standard along with stability and traction control. Audi recognise that this might be top of a thief’s hit list so have made it very secure. Sturdy roll hoops add protection in the case of the car rolling over and add a nice visual touch.

Few convertibles are particularly practical but the boot in the TT is big enough to take holiday luggage for two people and the rear seats fold flat increasing the storage area, which is probably the best thing to do with them. There’s good stowage upfront with decent door pockets.
