John Evans

John Evans is an award-winning motoring journalist and the Renault UK/Guild of Motoring Writers' Journalist of the Year 2018.

From 1985 to 1989 he worked in the motor industry, first for Colt Cars, importer and distributor of Mitsubishi cars, in the company's sales department and then at a Mitsubishi dealer where he was a sales executive. He continued his sales career at Fiat before, in 1990, moving into motoring journalism, including a spell as editor of a popular caravan magazine.

His car collection includes a Ford Focus ST, a VW Scirroco and a Mazda MX-5 2.0i 184 convertible.
