Value
Not sure on the price new, but I imagine it to be outrageously expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. If you can afford it, (which I can't, ha ha), should last a lifetime.
Costs
I'll just say this, i'm over the moon, i'm not paying for the petrol! Almost had a heart-attack when I was told the service costs. But when you can afford to buy and run one of these you'll be able to afford to maintain it.

On the road
Driving
Unfortunately, I don't own the car, but was lucky enough to drive my boss' for a while. Absolutely fantastic in all situations except parking which is realy daunting, especially when it's not mine! So easy to drive, wafts along effortlessly.
Performance
What can I say? What a machine! V.W at their mind-blowing best. I've driven a lot of cars and nothing comes close. I didn't dare floor it in all the time I drove it. So much power in reserve in all gears.

Living with it
Reliability
I've driven it regularly for over a year without so much as a hiccup. Silent-running from inside the cabin, makes you think twice if you've started it.
