Obviously, compared to modern vehicles, it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of efficiency and gadgets but it is well maintained. has low mileage, and everything works as it should. For me it is an occasional/recreational use vehicle rather than being for a daily commute which is just as well given the low mpg but I like it because there are so few around and it has a sense of character.
How reliable do you find the car?
Apart from a problem initially with the mass air filter which needed replacing it has been very reliable in the 9K miles I have done in the past 12 months. The vehicle belonged to my mother and had only done 1K/year in the previous 10 years and had never been used on a motorway however it cruises well on the open road despite this fact.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
For what is an 18 year old base model car I have found it to be a good drive for comfort and cruising on motorways. The auto gearbox handles the changes smoothly, although being an early 90's design it only has 4 speed.. There is plenty of load carrying space courtesy of the rear fold down seats.About their car
