Very good used deal from BMW
Costs
Older cars have cheaper servicing & repairs. Sometimes a lot of waiting around at the BMW service desk. Basics can be repaired elsewhere for less.

Smooth, comfrotable & a bit jolty in the first to second gear change

Not that sporty, but comfortable over long distances.

Reliability
Not as reliable as BMW once was. Seems to need similiar repairs at similar mileages. BMW repair costs are astronomic, suggest go elsewhere for these.

Nice car, still a lot of agro from other drivers. 'Oh no! not a BMW!' Quite unjustified I think. Arises cos its German, and from Rover debacle. I think BMW did Rover a lot of good.

BMW dealers very busy. Often have to wait, can't speak to the mechanic, repair costs very high.
