Huge costs, low reliability = poor value.

    Costs

Very high.Thirsty and servicing high. Not helped by BMW being greedy - oil only available from them for example and at a silly price.

Fabulous - when it's working. Immense poise and staggering speed.

    Performance

Staggering. Almost more power than you can use. Corners perfectly.

    Reliability

    1 out of 5 1.0

Worst car I have owned. Shamed by a Skoda I had two cars ago - and the Renault Clio we have as well.

It's a BMW, so suffers. Even if it is an M3. You'll be taken for a pimp if you have it in black and a poser in any other colour.

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Excellent. Almost faultless.

  • Security and Service

    Security

It's still here - so it's worked so far!

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Shameful. Especially for a car costing nearly £50,000. BMW could learn a lot from Skoda, but they are too busy telling themselves that they are above everyone else.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Other

Where do I start? Electrics haven't been right over the last 18 months - save for the first few weeks and the car has twice stranded us with a broken accelerator pedal. Yes - honestly. It fell apart!
