BMW 3-Series Saloon (2012 - 2019) 328i Luxury 4d Owner Review

Bought my second BMW 3 series at 5 years old and low-mileage for a great price and I have been delighted ever since. I went for petrol this time to replace a 325D which I owned for 6 years and which also went like a dream, but which had to have an expensive DPF replacement. The 328i was the only petrol-engined 3 series I tried which could match the 325D's performance and I am so glad I held out for one - it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it! My only grumble is that it gets through front tyres far too quickly and it is only the outside edge of the tyre that wears out. I have had the steering tracked/re-aligned a couple of times but this doesn't seem to make any difference. I am quite heavy-footed but still get 34 mpg real world average which I am content with. All round, I am really happy with my trade-up to a 328i.
