In their own words

After having a few 'luxobarges' - a Jag XJ (X351) being my last, i decided i wanted to enjoy driving again and downsize. After some deliberation i decided on a 3 Series. I picked up an immaculate car from a dealer and have not regretted a moment. The 335d has a awesome engine and the combination of power and economy is very welcome. The standard M Sport suspension wallowed and was a little soft but a full set of Eibach Pro springs transformed the handling. Practicality; with dogs the space is great and i think the touring is a great looking car for an estate. Interior is typical BMW - ergonomically spot on but rather dull and bland. I have swapped out large parts with the BMW carbon fibre parts - expensive but lifts the look so much. I took the plunge last week and had the ACS remap and the car is on a another level. Reliability wise the only issue I've had was an intermittent MAF sensor fault. I just replaced it myself. Overall the car is fantastic in standard guise. With the few tweaks i have made, it is one on the most enjoyable drives i have ever had in over 35 years of driving.
