  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Successful business man who can afford the high running and maintainability costs.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    Might be a little jealous.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, maybe the 525i though, the extra torque would help at low speeds, although the 2.2L is more than up to the job.

What are you likely to buy next?

Possibly a newer model, maybe an '07 520i, or 525i, although the looks are worse in my opinion, and the ride quality is too.

    February 2010

    What was the dealer like?

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Performance is very impressive, could easily be mistaken for a 2.5L. Silky smooth, although could do with more torque, bellow 3000rpm. Once your above 60mph the engine is a peach leaving most new bmw's standing. However, not the best to drive in the city, feels heavy and a bit sluggish. Great ride quality and road holding though.

    What's it like to park?

Not the best in this area, large size makes it tricky, however parking sensors help.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nope, a very well built car.

What's most practical about your car?

Large boot space and parking sensors.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Climate control, a worth while option.
