What does this car say about you?
That I like a car that doesn't just get from A to B.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family love it and my youngest who used to get travel sick in my previous car (Audi A4) hasn't suffered in this one. Not really interested what neighbours think.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely - it was supposed to be a stop-gap but has been a revelation so will keep it for a while yet. Does everything I want and is reasonably economical too (40-45mpg on a run). Have found a good specialist which keeps costs down.

Another 5 series touring.

Was high mileage but definitely cheaper than some other 5 series of similar age.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Absolutely superb - bags of torque and still happy spending all day on the motorway at speed. Handling not the best ever but offset against superior ride comfort.
What's it like to park?
Can be a challenge due to length/turning circle. Rear parking sensors help in this respect.
