In their own words

Owned from new and still running-in the 2 litre Diesel engine provides plenty of shove yet still returns 41mpg on mixed roads - and much cheaper insurance, parts and servicing costs. Engine is still a bit noisy at tick over, but the new acoustic glass really makes a difference on the move. Fabulous auto gearbox makes the wheel mounted paddles superfluous. Handling is excellent and grin inducing. Huge tyres deliver impressive traction and grip. MSport brakes superb. Optional MSport Plus pack well worth it and looks great. BMW has finally sorted Sports suspension and run flats on 20” wheels - no more trips to the dentist. Rear tyres are bigger than the fronts, so not interchangeable. It’s the interior that’s seen the most dramatic improvement in quality and luxury and puts it in an entirely different league compared to the 2nd gen X3 and that - plus the ride quality - was the game changer for me. Sat nav works really well, especially with the big screen. Harman Kardon good, but not slightly underwhelming. Oh, and buy the panoramic sunroof... and folding mirrors... and the rather excellent Advanced Eye 2 front & rear dashcam.
