Yes, but I would hope that a newer model would have better fuel economy.

Probably a smaller, more fuel efficient car but still with 4WD.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I had limited negotiation room as price had already been reduced by £3,500 for quick sale. Just got some new tyres thrown in.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Was looking for X5 and this was one of only 200 10 Year Editions in UK.
What was the dealer like?
Small independent specialising in Prestige cars. Not that impressed really.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very fast and good handling for large 4x4, but can be a bit bumpy over poor roads due to raised ride height. Very smooth cruising on motorway. Great 6 speed auto gearbox.
What's it like to park?
Very big car so can be difficult to park and with 20" wheels has limited turning circle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Power steering developed a leak that was fixed under warranty. Front discs had worn out after only 23,000 miles!
What's most practical about your car?
Huge boot and underfloor storage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Can google required location and send address to satnav via BMW App on iPhone.
