What does this car say about you?

It says that family tradgedy, unemployment and depression have all been to my door in the last year, but I haven't given up yet.... and also that I wisely ignore Top Gear reviews.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

The children seem to like it. Friends think i've lost the plot but then go quite when they try it out, and hear the price and package. Others seem to like the look.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, or the updated version. It has all I need for much less than the competition.

No idea, only just got this one.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, was a dealer demonstrator of the old model 7k, 8 months old, and came with balance of Chevrolet 5 year warrenty. Dealer included an early first service when asked and left 4 months tax on too.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed a new car to qualify for company car allowance after a very difficult year. Could not afford to replace my 407SW so bought this for work and kept the 407.

What was the dealer like?

Salesman I dealt with was a junior, and was great, polite and good test drive too. His boss was rude,pushy and obnoxious. It's a good job I like the car and the deal was right or I would have walked.

What's it like to drive?

Much,much better than the price suggests. positive handling, light clutch and lovely power steering. Not powerful and a bit noisy when pushed hard, but quite when cruising. Brakes good too.

What's it like to park?

Easy... Good PAS and good visibilty. Lovely light clutch.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No, only had it a short while, will update as our life together progresses...

What's most practical about your car?

Good driving position and view, easy to get comfortable. plenty of room in the back. The hard plastic door trim that others would not likeis good for me as I don't have a clean job and it is very easy to keep clean. Boot is a reasonable size.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It's the stripped out base model so it has very few gadgets. For me the very simple dash layout and pale green illumination is both calming and pleasant.
