  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Open to try new things. Not entirely bothered about prestige and wants a reliable, well built car with a solid engine - simplicity works.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone who has been in the car agrees that there is plenty of space and the ride is very nice. The interior isn't luxury by any means with use of plastic extensively but the whole package is extremely good value.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Without a second thought. Reliable, good to drive, well priced, looks original and stylish in my opinion.

What are you likely to buy next?

I was looking more into audi/bmw grounds but I'm really really tempted by the chevrolet cruze. I just can't get enough of the good value. But then again (like most people) I'm a sucker for prestige even if it doesn't mean better.

    Generally good to deal with.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Not the best handling car in its class yet handles corners better than you might think. Pretty rev happy, reasonable acceleration for a 1.6. Fuel economy isn't great when pushed, however under normal circumstances the 30mpg is fair. The suspension is well tuned for european roads. Very comfortable, enough power for motorway cruising, looks great in my opinion, for the price a real steal. The included macpherson strut really makes a difference. Great sound system with deep bass and full spectrum sound with little distortion if any at all (an audiophile here). If you're interested I seriously recommend going for a test drive before discarding the idea. Plenty of room in the back for friends.

    What's it like to park?

A little difficult due to some blind spots but I have had no problems (takes a little getting used to). I park in an extremely tight car park every day of the week and have no issues.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not at all. Have been driving almost every day since the purchase date and have had no problems.

What's most practical about your car?

A surprisingly roomy car for its class.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

A/C, electric windows, very good sound stock sound system.
