Fuel economy

A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test. Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 39 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Chrysler 300C running costs aren’t so onerous when you consider what a sizeable lump it is. According to the official stats it will return an average of 39.8mpg.

As far as the Chrysler 300C emissions go, it conforms to American standards – it’s not particularly planet-friendly with CO2 emission of 185g/km on 18-inch alloys. Specify the optional 20-inch wheels and your CO2 emissions just to 191g/km. A stop/start system is notable by its absence.

The Chrysler 300C’s cabin isn’t up to the standards of German premium cars. The previous 300C was fairly bulletproof, however, and we expect that trend to continue.
