Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Parkers are WRONG when they state 'cheap and nasty' interior, that is not true. It's a lovely place to be and i have regularly driven DB9's and Vanquish (Gaydon model). And this feels very much like the last DB9 sport that i spent a day in a couple of years back but this is more comfortable and does not cost £160k!! This is a muscle car, a very fast cruiser and the Yanks know how to provide a great driving car experieince. Feel like Steve McQueen in Bullit on your way to work each day. There are no downsides to this car at all. Performance is great, it's bloody fast and MPG is a steady 31mpg (and i do ike to go ballistic in it now and then). I love my Crossfire in the best collour (black) and i feel a million dollars when i drive it. If you are tempted then buy one. Dont even hesitate. Expect these to escalate in price in the next few years. In an age of boring diesel white goods cars am i happy to be different. Grin factor huge. Keep your Audi's ertc. as i am not interested.

How reliable do you find the car?

My example is pristine (enthusiast owned and showed). It had been standing a while before i brought it and so i expected the usual Merc sensors false readings and a couple of lights appreaed the first couple of days but they went away. I brought an OBD reader and it confirmed all is good. So expect some of this if you dont use it often.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

My example has K&N filters fitted along with a performance rear box. Makes a glorious noise. Sounds like a V8 (or an Aston Martin as many people at work kept looking out of the office window expecting to see a Gaydon early Vantage or the like driving into the car park when i first got it). Huge grin factor and it pulls like a train. I opted for a manual shift after trying the auto as well. Best option for driving pleasure is manual gears. It's bloody fast and the sound is addictive. I dont play the lovely Infinity stereo much as i tend to drive it with the drivers window open about an inch to drink in the sound. It will get up to 120mph in a heartbeat and i still have three shifts to change up (with plenty more speed left to boot. I've reached 130mph on a private piece of tarmac and have no reason to doubt it will hit the limited 155mph). My young son actually thinks i am a God since buying this car. A great superdad feeling that!!People assume i have paid at least twice as much as i did for it too. With a private plate it's a lot of supercar flash for not a lot of money. Turns head everywhere and i am very proud of it. I dont show off in it and very humble as it speaks volumes for itself just sitting in the driveway. I have brought a mk1 ST170 Focus for my daily driver to preserve this as i plan to never sell it. Many years ago i made the mistake of selling a mint Capri 280 Brooklands and this has that special something that no other piece of German or Japanise car i owned afterwards could match. Definite classic this.
