Choose the entry level S trim and you get 15-inch alloys, ABS and EBD, inflation kit (fix and go), LED tail-lights, radio with MP3 and CD player, electric front windows, remote keyless entry, electric folding mirrors and a spoiler as standard. Safety

4 out of 5 4.0

The Ypsilon has not been tested by Euro NCAP but we expect it to perform well when it does. ABS and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), front driver and passenger airbags and front curtain airbags are all fitted as standard.

Interior & boot space

4 out of 5 4.0

With the seats in place the Ypsilon has a capacity of 245 litres (this is larger than both the Ford Ka and the Fiat 500) and when folded this expands to 562 litres. There are plenty of cubbies for loose change, but the glovebox is average and the door pockets are quite narrow.

How does the boot space compare?

Check the table below to see how the Chrysler Ypsilon (11-15) compares to other similar cars in terms of available boot space.

Model Boot space
Chrysler Ypsilon (11-15) 245 litres
Ford Ka (09-16) 224 litres
Fiat 500 Hatchback 185 litres
Toyota Aygo (05-14) 138 litres
