  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

Style conscious. Doesn't follow the herd.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

A common comment is "I don't like Citroen's but this is a nice car". Everyone likes the dash and a lot of people the shape. Everyone loves the seats.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Absolutely. It feels like a proper Citroen despite the coil springs, normal brakes and power steering. It's very comfortable and manages to be very modern while still tipping a cap to classic Citroen cars of the past.

What are you likely to buy next?

One of the last C4 coupes off the line.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Very light controls are great around town. Gear change has a bit of a long throw but you soon adjust. On the motorway it's an excellent and comfortable cruiser. Decent on A roads but lacks a bit of driving flair. Light steering makes the driving experience feel a bit remote but turn in is actually very good with good grip in the corners. Overall it's a good car to drive with a good turn of speed. Some of the interior trim quality could be better but the stereo is excellent. It's a car that makes you feel good about owning it. It's got personality and I still haven't lost the feeling of looking forward to driving it.

    What's it like to park?

The styling compromising visibility makes it a bit tricky to start with as does the fact that it doesn't have the best turning circle in the world. Big doors can be tricky in tight spaces.

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Problems on delivery sorted under warranty. All things which should have been picked up at service and MOT. Since then I've had 5,000 trouble free miles.

What's most practical about your car?

It's not actually the most practical of cars owing to the shape. Good space inside but the boot isn't the biggest due to styling.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Speed control.
