Generally a nice car to drive. Smooth ride. Handles well for a medium sized family hatchback. Light and precise gearbox. Quite peppy performance, though somtimes a little hesitation when accelerating briskly in cold weather before the engine has fully warmed up. The style is starting to look a little dated now, but still not a bad looking car. Love the digital speedometer sitting on the top-centre of the dash, which makes keeping to the speed limit a doddle without having to really take your eyes off the road. And yes, that mileage is correct, it really has only done 30,000 miles ;)
How reliable do you find the car?
A front spring broke recently, but probably due to all the speed bumps I have to drive over. Glovebox opener broke but was able to buy a non oem one which was easy to fit. NS electric window only operates when it wants to. OS headlight bulb has blown a couple of times. Air-con has never worked. Some of the plastic trim inside and around the windows keeps coming loose, and is of so-so quality. Otherwise generally reliable. Bodywork in excellent condition, with no rust, despite being eleven years old now.About their car
