That it looks good but isnt robust.
Would you buy this car again and why?
The later models have updated the NAV which was needed. The other engine options offer CO2 /tax advantages which would be sensible.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Time of year, cash purchase, they hadnt recognised a problem.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed an economical load carrier, tried out a wish list, and the C5 felt right, better than the competitors (Mondeo, Volvo,Merc etc). Then our existing load carrier failed, so looked for a quick purchase as we had a trip already planned and booked. So scoured the country for an immediate purchase.
What was the dealer like?
They had already provided a test drive of a new C5. Superficially helpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
There isnt much feel through the steering, which can be disconserting, but that doesnt stop the car being pushed and it can be pushed much more than you expect, leaving you feeling very happy.
What's it like to park?
There arent the blind points that you might expect, but due to the size positioning to the last few inches needs help. The rear parking sensors provide that vital information to get right up to an object. Front sensors would have been useful.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Tyre pressure sensors failed, tyre valves failed & wheel security bolts snapped resulting in trailed home. Parking sensors have failed several times.. Internal fan failed, steering rack failed(£2K), tailgate occasionally stops. Front seat trim.
What's most practical about your car?
The consistency of fuel consumption even when pushed.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
In spite of the failures, when it works its a joy; the panaramic roof, the comfort/ride, the look of the car.
