What does this car say about you?

I suppose it says that I am an individual who does not follow the standard BMW herd.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all love it: It looks so good and is so comfortable. I still get people asking to have alook inside it or to sit in it and I get a request to sell in about once a year.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes: I am looking for another one but cannot currently find low mileage example. It is easliy the most comfortable and safest car I have ever owned or driven. No one else makes a car with the head up display, hard drive, round corner lights (proper ones; not just fog lights that do almost nothing) or safety the C6 provides.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I asked the dealer to find me a 1 year old 2.2 C6 with cream leather for £17,500. They did so, finding my ideal car with only 3,000 miles on the clock.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It was the safest car in its class (according to Thatcham &.NCAP), it had 4 stars for pedestrian safety, it was the most comfortable var in its class, it could accomodate my 6'5" frame, it has the highest spec in its class, it looks beautiful and it is not a BMW.

What was the dealer like?

Howards Citroen were wonderful, helpful and gave a great service.

What's it like to drive?

It is the most comfortable car I have ever driven: Long distances are easy. Although no sports car, it is not at all bad on the bendy bits either.

What's it like to park?

It is large, but with great parking sensors it is a doddle.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The hard drive failed & was replaced under warrenty and the roll bars have had to be replaced at about 80,000 miles.

What's most practical about your car?

The interior space: At 6'5" I can drive and my 6'5" son can sit comfortably behind me: No other car in its class offer such space.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I have 3 favourites; 1 - Head up display - An essential safety item; 2 - proper round corner lights - Again, an essential safety item that are absolutely wonderful, once you have used them you never want a car without them; 3 - A 40gb built in hard drive: All my favourite music is downloaded into the system; just great.
