Dacia Duster 1.6Sce 4x2 is a good choice for people who drive around the town with frequent trips to countryside. However, petrol is not that frugal, but considering that is classic atmo petrol engine - it's fine. Acceleration is linear, and there is no excitement. Flooring the gas pedal will not stick you to the seat. It's good for climbing over curbs, macadam roads, and with careful driving - it can push through the forest road. Luggage area is good, well shaped, and it will cover most of needs. Rear sets are fordable in 1/3-2/3 manner, but load area is not completely flat. Front seats are good, well shaped, and long enough. Steering wheel can be adjusted both vertically and in depth. Kit is good - great car stereo, four electric windows, heated mirrors, manual A/C... What else you need? For the price tag - it's perfect. It will offer reliable and comfortable motoring from point A to point B.
If you need real offroad vehicle, then I suggest you to consider 1.5Dci Duster with 4x4.
How reliable do you find the car?
It's still new - so far so good. Once I got "antipollution fault" warning, but it went off after restarting the car.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Switched to brand new Duster from 14 years old Citroen Xsara Picasso. It offers less comfort than previous car, but it's pleasant to drive, big and well shaped boot, it's much quieter, and have lot of electronic kit, like hill assist.About their car
