Bought as fully optioned 1 year old ex-demo for just £6,300 although I understand depreciation can be an issue.
Costs
Fuel, tax, insurance very good - servicing seems a little high for a small car.

Easy to drive - steering, gearchange fine, engine willing.
Performance
Engine becomes a little coarse at high revs but seems willing enough.

Minor issue with knocking rear shock absorber, otherwise excellent.

Daihatsu not the most inspiring brand but I like the stying in and out - still looks good and somewhat 'different'.
Comfort
Ride suffers pretty badly on poor urban roads. Cabin narrow but spacious. Boot too small and items slide across flat loading area when cornering.
