Value
Good value to buy but then when you pay to keep it running you can really pay. Service history essential.
Costs
Parts are not cheap and I have spent so much money on this little car.

Good fun, but all the niggly rattles can get tiresome.
Performance
Fantastic for a 1.1. Feels so fast and puts a real smile on your face. Uses too much fuel if you push it though.

Reliability
Engine itself its bullet proof. A fiat FIRE engine from old skool, solid stuff. Its just all the other bits that fail frequently. Clutch and cable have been absolute nightmares. Cable snapped twice, new fuel tank needed, new radiator.

These cars are social levellers, they're not pretentious and put a smile on your face...perfect!

Seats fairly comfy. Harsh jarring ride only downside.

Haven't ever used main fiat so can't comment, but find yourself a trustworthy specialist.

As above, the clutch. Look out for crunchy pedals and gradually lowering biting points. A sign the cable is slipping and could snap.
