My mother loves it. Says it is quiet and comfortable for her.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, I am up for something a little more stylish now. My main beef about the car is finding a comfortable driving position. It seems to change every time I get in!

Looking at the Fiat 500.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Only 8000 miles on the car, and felt it was a good buy from a Fiat dealer.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

At the time, seemed a spacious enough car to get my disabled father in and around and about.

What was the dealer like?

Very good. Helpful although I could not test drive it as battery was flat. Will not make that mistake again.

What's it like to drive?

It took me a long time to find a comfortable driving position and I still struggle sometimes if I wear different shoes. However, it is quite a smooth drive for such a little car. The seats are quite supportive but a little wide, and passengers have reported it is comfortable in the back. Steering is responsive and the engine, although not sporty, is powerful enough for me, and works well on the motorway, and in the town. Ride is sometimes a little bumpy, but it is a small car.

What's it like to park?

Very easy. "City" button helps with light steering and the rear parking aid is another accessory I love!

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes. A wiring problem which cost a lot in labour as it took a while for the mechanic to isolate. Needed a new starter motor last year, but nothing much else.

What's most practical about your car?

Quite versatile, lots of different options for luggage space.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Several. Duologic box is brilliant. I like the option to move into manual with a flick of the stick. Rear parking aid is very helpful. The big double glass roof makes the car very light and airy. Climate control works very well.
